We had a wonderful time at the Genoa Aquarium, one of the largest in Europe.
Located in the Porto Antico area, the Acquario di Genova is a delight for kids and adults alike. It is one of the most popular attractions and can get quite cacophonous indoors (with kids screaming in wonder and glee :)).
I spent considerable time observing the manatees (munching on cabbage, I think). Junior was marveling at almost everything that swam :). I think that his personal favorites were the seals and the bottlenose dolphins. Mr. Husband loved the penguins and their antics.
The jellyfish transported us into an entirely different world – a magical one. Delicate, fragile, simply beautiful.
Junior was thrilled to see the clown fish and other aquatic creatures from “Finding Nemo”. As we walked from one tank to another, our favorite line was “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming”.
In summary, a delightful morning in Genoa.
