Admiring “Wall” Art at Porta Garibaldi Station (Milan)

Another very cold and grey weekend morning. The unanimous choice was to spend at least a couple of hours riding the ‘passante’ trains in Milan (with 2 ardent train lovers in the family, even if I hadn’t voted FOR, it would’ve been the majority choice! :))

We marched out in the ‘grey’ outdoors for a short walk to the Porta Garibaldi Railway Station. And VOILA!

What a colorful feast for the eyes! The vibrant art at the entrance was a stark contrast to the bleak weather outside.

Well, if that impressed us, we were completely enchanted as we descended the stairs and walked toward the platforms.

This “wall” art made my day!

While commuters typically rush past these walls to hurry toward their trains, a few folks stop by, cast a glance, smile at a funny painting, take a picture of a painting that captures their attention, and then walk away with that extra spring in their step.

I did :).
